This is my largest work to date. This patio mosaic was completed in May 2006. It is approximately 17 sq. ft. and made of high quality vitreous glass tile. The blue background glass is in the copper-veined vitreous and shimmers in the sunlight. This mosaic was worked indirect, meaning I created the design on paper, placing the pieces upside down, then installing the work onsite by flipping the image into a mortar bed. The paper was soaked off the next day and then I grouted the work.
